I have been keen in real estate since young and have purchased and sold properties since the day I have been legally been allowed to. On a personal level, I have through my own HDB resale, an amazing HDB en-bloc exercise, decoupling of HDB property and moving on to private properties etc. Learning and keeping track of the local property market has hence been part of my world.
It is, hence, a logic move to formally obtain my Real Estate Salesperson (RES) certificate so that I can use the years of knowledge of real estate for the benefit of my clients. With my financial skills (I have a degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University) and financial knowledge, I see myself providing a key edge to my clients in terms of financial planning and asset progression when it comes to their property investments.
As I use my real estate knowledge to help my clients, I also developed new areas of knowledge in many new areas in Real Estate industry such as the unique nature of landed properties, the intricate HDB timeline planning and new private condo launches.
In today’s real estate industry, with the changes in Singapore’s Real Estate Industry Transformation Map and more importantly, the digital changes that are affecting the industry, a real estate agent can no longer be what they were. An agent must be technically capable, fully knowledgeable in all laws and rules and regulations and financially strong to help the clients to grow their assets and investments in properties.
